one has to pay eventually. Freeware
is also not an adware, which is
basically a curse of modern internet
which keeps coming up to advertise
some form of saleable product. Freeware
also is not a spyware, which basically
functions as a creepy software which
has a basic purpose of stealing
data and information from your computer
and pass it on to someone.
When somebody downloads a freeware
program from the net, he or she
should not forget that it was offered
for free and there are no liabilities
on the person offering it. The person
using it cannot therefore demand
any new additional features for
the freeware or expect to repair
or upgrade some portions of the
freeware. It is not a part of the
contract since it is a freeware.
Also, one must not think that freeware
is developed by lower grade programmers.
In reality, the fact is quite the
opposite. Freeware is developed
by programmers of the highest calibre
who wanted to be on their own rather
than being stuck in some large company
writing codes for the latest product
launch.
